Summer Session 2022
Beginning Orchestra (violin, viola, & cello)
Summer Camp $150
Students will learn the basic techniques of playing the violin, viola, and cello, as well as reading music, in this two-week intensive group session. Open to grades 3-6, with flexibility for other beginners that are interested, depending on space.
Limited space available: 8 violins, 4 violas, 2 cellos
Students are expected to be on good behavior at all times, being attentive and listening to instructors. Anyone that is constantly disruptive may be asked to leave the camp.
June 20-24 & June 27-July 1 / 1:00-2:45 group rehearsal / 3:00-4:00 individual/small group practice time

Instruments are available and included in camp tuition.
Private Lessons
Private music lessons are the most effective and efficient way to teach students a musical instrument. At Wild Roots, our goal as instructors is to lay a solid foundation, teaching each student proper technique of their instrument, as well as the ability to read accurately and confidently, the language of music notation.
