Abigail Schlichtmann


Abigail is a versatile and accomplished classically trained singer, with a rich background in musical theatre, jazz, and theme park entertainment. She holds a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Furman University and an M.M. in Vocal Performance from The University of Tennessee Knoxville. Throughout her career, Abigail has showcased her talent on various prestigious stages, including Dollywood Entertainment, the Clarence Brown Theatre, Knoxville Opera, and regional theaters across NC, SC, and TN.

From an early age, Abigail displayed a remarkable passion for music, having performed in over 30 musicals and operas. Her dedication to her craft led her to pursue classical vocal training, a journey that began in high school and continues to this day. In 2018, she was honored as an Honors Recital performer and selected to study abroad in Tuscany, Italy, where she had the privilege of learning from Baroque specialist Jill Feldman and participating in masterclasses with esteemed instructors such as Luigi Marzolla.

Abigail's commitment to excellence is further exemplified by her achievements in vocal competitions, including winning the 1st place prize at both the state and regional levels of the NC division of NATS. During her university years, she focused on vocal pedagogy, fostering a deep passion for helping students reach their full potential. With a diverse repertoire spanning various genres and her unwavering enthusiasm for music, Abigail is dedicated to guiding aspiring performers towards their performance goals.
