Karen Entzi

Violin, Viola, Cello, Piano & Music Theory

Karen Entzi is an experienced music educator and professional violinist who has dedicated more than 28 years to inspiring students of all ages. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Science in Education from Northwest Missouri State University, and additional graduate concentration in Music (Organ).

Throughout her performing career, Karen has been a member of several regional orchestras, including the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra, St. Joseph Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, Spartanburg Symphony Orchestra, Long Bay Symphony (Myrtle Beach, SC), and additional symphony orchestras throughout the Southeast.

As a teacher, she has worked with students in Suzuki violin, General Music (K–5), middle school strings, and high school orchestra programs in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Missouri. She has also served as an adjunct instructor of applied violin, string methods, and music appreciation at Montreat College, Mars Hill College, and UNC Pembroke. Karen is passionate about helping beginning through intermediate students develop strong musical foundations while fostering confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Karen currently offers private and group instruction in piano, violin, viola, cello, and music theory in Saluda, NC, as well as at the Wild Roots Fine Arts Academy in Forest City, NC. She welcomes students ages nine through adult.
