Lelia Lattimore

Classical & Celtic Harp

Lelia Lattimore was born and raised in Asheville, NC and was introduced to the small lever harp at a young age. Her interest in music and harps of all sizes has been lifelong.

Mrs. Lattimore's career includes years of experience as Principal Harpist with the Asheville Symphony, Hendersonville Symphony, and Johnson City Symphony (TN). As a freelance musician, she has enjoyed providing accompaniment for Asheville Lyric Opera, for choral groups, and music for private events throughout North Carolina. 

Mrs. Lattimore is available for instruction on lever or pedal harp for students of all ages and levels of experience. Lelia is currently the harp instructor at the Wild Roots Fine Arts Academy in Forest City, NC. Rental instruments are available. 

Lelia and her husband, John, moved to Shelby in the early 90's and raised three children. They currently live on the family farm in the restored "John Lattimore House" in Polkville, NC
