Rutherford County Orchestra League
Students will learn the basic techniques of playing the violin, viola, and cello, as well as reading music and playing within a group setting, in this team-based performance ensemble. This is a beginning-level program and no prior experience is required.

Each team can accept up to 14 players. Minimum of 6 players required to form a team. More teams will be added with enough interest. You may contact Wild Roots to see what positions are available.
Students are expected to be on good behavior at all times, being attentive and listening to instructors. Anyone that is constantly disruptive may be asked to leave the program.

*Each team will meet once a week to practice together.

18 Practices, starting Tuesday, Jan 16 - May 14 (No practice April 2 - SPRING BREAK)
TEAM Grades 3-5: Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00
TEAM Grades 6-8: Tuesdays, 5:15-6:15
TEAM Adult (includes HS): Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30
2 All-Team Combined Practices: Sundays, March 10 & May 5, 2:30-4:30
First Game (concert): TBA

Instruments are available for rental. Rental fee is due at the first practice.
